Sources we ingest
We crawl the source systems directly — not a search index, not a news aggregator. Full document text is extracted, processed, and stored for citation linking and Q&A.
| Source | Update frequency | Document types | Status | Available since |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PUCT Interchange Every filing submitted to the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Updated on submission. We crawl the full document text, not just metadata or docket summaries. | On submission (continuous) | Orders, filings, notices, motions, applications, commission open meeting transcripts | Live | v0.3.0 (2026-05-09) |
| ERCOT Stakeholder Protocol revision requests (NPRRs, OPRRs, POLRRs), nodal protocol sections, market notices, RFPs, and Board meeting materials published to ERCOT's public stakeholder portal. | Daily (06:00 CT) | NPRRs, OPRRs, POLRRs, protocol sections, market notices, RFPs, Board materials | Live | v0.3.0 (2026-05-09) |
| FERC (ERCOT-tagged) Federal Energy Regulatory Commission orders and notices tagged to ERCOT-jurisdictional matters. Includes interregional proceedings affecting ERCOT interconnection policy and intrastate exemption clarifications. | Daily (06:00 CT) | Orders, notices of proposed rulemaking, rehearing orders, commission letters | Live | v0.3.0 (2026-05-09) |
| Texas Legislature Session bills and committee reports touching electric utility regulation, ERCOT oversight, and Public Utility Commission authority. Coverage limited to active session periods. | During session, daily | Bills, amendments, committee reports, fiscal notes | Planned Q3 2026 | — |
Coverage notes
- Recall vs. precision: We optimize for recall (≥99% of filings captured) first, then apply tag-level accuracy gates (95% threshold, nightly evals) to ensure only correctly-classified items appear in briefs.
- Document history: PUCT Interchange indexed back 90 days from the v0.3.0 launch date. ERCOT and FERC indexed back 180 days. Historical archive expansion is on the roadmap.
- What we do not cover: State agency guidance documents not published to official dockets, informal stakeholder communications, and news or commentary sources. The brief covers primary regulatory documents only.
- Request a source: If there is a regulatory docket or agency feed you need covered, contact hello@nodalpulse.com.
